How we face death is at least as important as how we face life.
Captain James T. Kirk
With those words in mind, I was wondering if there any strange or interesting ways your characters have faced death.
In a recent Traveller session we found ourselves trapped on a starship on a collision course with a sun. Headed for certain death we were scrambling to find a way to change course. All attempts failed miserably. We were headed for certain doom, and with all hope gone I said to myself, "Self, how would old Sully face death." Sully, my PC had a 7 Soc standing and was a former belter and marine and was currently acting as a mercenary.
I decided the best way to face death was to get drunk on good Scotch while watching cartoons. This amused the GM so much I got 200 XP.
Just wondering what you would do in this situation?
Rover.
PS the autopilot kicked in at the last minute and saved our asses.
