Which exact violation are you wanting explained? The original (I am not a lawyer) libelous attack on Hunter? Or the act of repeating it after being called on it the first time and flaunting and trolling with it? Actually both violations are the same since, though I was tempted to go further for the circumstances surrounding the repeat offense, I only treated it as the deleted attack. Does that answer your question?

Will you answer a question of mine? Why would you repeat an old attack, after you were called on it the first time, and knowing full well, even daring that you be called on it again?

A fair question. I'm not sure I'm the one who can best answer it. I would have expected Theophilus to PM me, but as they posted publicly I answered here.

If you like I can and will delete the posts, or split them off into their own thread. Just as soon as Theophilus PMs me. It beats taking this off-track or locking it. I detest being ignored (and worse) when I've initiated the PM discussion to avoid this type of public mess so I've adopted a public re public - PM re PM policy. Perhaps some people haven't found or figured out the PM setup explains it.

Or if Theophilus answers here that my answer is good enough it can be dropped and said posts deleted.

To be libelous it must be untrue, Is it true that money was taken?, Is it true that Hunter then disappeared?, Was he out of contact for years? Did the product get published?, Was it delivered to those who had paid for it?

These are very valid points and the whole reason why it was needed to contact Marc in the first place.

Huh? I missed the original comment, was that it? All that IS true, except the last.
However, without seeing the original statement I can't comment, but can I get a clarification?

Hypothetically;
Just say; X offers subscription to a product, and Y pays. Much later X produces said product, sells it at another point, but does not supply it to Y, despite the fact that X had to set up point of sale in one location and is the only one who can at the other point. And as X clearly had the ability to do this, X really should have done this.

If I post what happened, is it a personal attack?
Is it a personal attack if I name X.
Have I already made a personal attack as it is easy to figure out to whom I am refering in my hypothetical?

Or is that all OK and the infraction came from calling X a {censored} or some other attack that went beyond a description of these events.

This is an honest query, not an attempt to slide something under the radar.

There is one more point here that seems to be missed by the mod team (and this is not an attack against you guys just a point).

As this is Hunters or more to the point QLI's company webforum any issues with their products and deleivery system cant really be called a personel attack.

Its more of a customer service question as long as the posters dosent go over the top, and as its customer services related why now as we all know Hunter has spoken to Marc why hasnt Hunter/QLI made some kind of statement here ?

I am going to point one thing out. This isn't just any blog on the internet. This isn't a Street Corner. This is COTI, which Hunter owns. It is QLI's website, not some neutral third party website. If I walk into your home or your place of business and loudly call you a thief, a crook, accuse you of fraud, you have every right, and I would actually expect you to, at the very least, tell me to stop, or ask me to leave, but more likely throw me out and not invite me back. It is the same idea here.

That does not make my statements untrue. It does not make my point invalid. That does not mean that I didn't hit a nerve. It does not even mean the situation to cause me to behave like that shouldn't be corrected. It does mean that I was rude to my host and should expect to be, at the very least, asked to not make such claims, or asked to leave.

Poor behavior, on the part of the host, does not make poor behavior on the part of the guest proper or correct.

Remember there is nothing forcing you to come back once your host has behaved in an inappropriate manner. In fact I have stated the only reason I am here at all is to get the rest of what I paid for. Once that happens, I will not be back. Nobody is forcing anyone to be here.

Is it more complex than that? What should that take, 30 minutes tops? In the past two months Hunter could not find 30 minutes to do this?

I have been waiting patiently since June 2005 for something new that piqued my interest in the TA/EA line. I have had two issues left in my subscription since then. It is now 2008. Anything coming soon?

Before you say it, I know I can Download both TA and EA with this subscription, but I already have all but the TNE EA, and I have never had any interest in the TNE setting.

And how many years has it been since the TA subscription was offered with no TA's being published?

Sorry but both of these are not vaild reasons at all.
If you pay for a subscription why should you have to take things that your not interested in ? The real problem is lack of content and delays in publication (and thats not even counting in the TA9 issue).

And the comment that its a gamble, are you really saying it OK for anyone to take peoples money and then pull out and not deliver ?, Im quite sure your not.

Not really; I have several Video-On-Demand season subscriptions via Amazon. They take the total subscription cost for the season, divide by the number of episodes expected, and charge my card for each episode as it's delivered. I get the discount for buying them all, and I only pay for content that's been delivered.

One, and only one, I have all the rest.

And I do mean all of the rest, All of the EA, except the TNE one, All of the TA, except for the one that has not been provided, and that piece of crap Revelation Station which clearly is not up to either TA or EA standard. This clearly was not my only subscription.
